Our cable provider here has a promotion wherein you can lower your monthly bill. Since we've been in this provider for more than a year, we are now qualified to avail of this promo. We have the cable bundle; internet, cable and home phone. Before we don't have HBO in our subscription but with this new subscription it has HBO and the monthly fee is about $20 less than what we have previously. I read in one of financial advices that one thing you can lower your bills is to negotiate with you providers if you can lower your monthly fees or lower interest rates with regards to credit cards and personal loans. So now at least for the whole year we save around $240 with our cable bill and we can add it to our savings. You can also do so with your respective provider. Having a savings from our utilities, how small it is, helps a lot.
