My husband hates any kind of insects. He will freak out every time he sees one inside our apartment. I usually see some black ants and some bugs or even bees. He won't touch it because he said it's gross. My only concern is that our toddler will chase it and one time I saw her about to put it in her mouth. I am glad that I haven't seen any fire ants yet. When hubby came back from Iraq I told him that he can't change lane going to HOV lane on some roads or freeway going to Seattle starting in Auburn unless he will pay for the fee. He was shocked and said that he was only gone for five months and there are new rules now. Well, they have this toll fee for HOV in order to maintain the road and a lot of people are willing to pay just so they can beat the traffic. I believe it really de-congest the traffic. I think they still do road construction to fully implement it in the whole of WA. I hope it would really do its purpose and will ease the traffic condition all over the state.

There is a debate right now going here in Seattle wherein they are proposing for the banning or phasing out of this styro foam that restaurants uses to put food for take out. It will greatly help the environment if restaurants will start using paper to put food in because it is biodegradable. I myself will support for phasing out of it. I believe it is time to do something more to save our environment because I do believe our environment is now on the verge of peril.

We just got back from the hospital on post and boy was the traffic very heavy. We were on I-5 going south and the traffic was bumper to bumper. On the other side going north the traffic started to build up after there was a police pulling up a motorcycle and a big truck. The traffic stopped for more than 3 miles since they were at the middle lane of the highway. I pity those who are on that side because they will for sure be on that road for quite sometime. We saw the helicopter of local tv station here hovering above to get traffic update I believe. This I-5 really is very busy during peek hours. I hope they will be able to finish doing the HOV lanes to speed up traffic.
